The Story
ToastPunks chronicles the story of two young siblings with imaginations to match their artistic endeavours, which includes reconstructing a wide array of breakfast foods into a myriad of fascinating characters. The result of their meanderings is a mesmerizing collection featuring the weird and wonderful world of the ToastPunks.
All in all, 10k items will grace the genesis collection, created using ToastPunks’ pioneering “Scrambled Trait Art” genre. This means, repurposing the components from the original characters into a new set of amazing designs while maintaining the shapes, colours and textures of the characters on which they are based. The result is a brand new set of ToastPunks base images which make up the component parts of the new designs.
ToastPunk has made waves in the social media sphere, acquiring an impressive 28k followers, including the interest of NFT socialite, Paris Hilton.
The Genesis Drop
The ToastPunks genesis collection is slated to arrive in early February. For now, the team is keeping the exact date and minting price tightly under wraps. However, the savvier collector can get a jump on proceedings by acquiring an OG ToastPunk. These are available via the project’s official minting channels, or via the secondary market, and include minting rights to a genesis punk.
A pre-sale for whitelist members will occur first, representing the first batch of 3,000 NFTs, while a public sale of the remaining ToastPunks will follow 24 hours later. Three days after the public sale, the ToastPunk designs will reveal themselves, and 1,000 lucky owners will receive an “upgradeable pass” via airdrop. Once in possession of one upgrade pass, one genesis ToastPunk, and one OG ToastPunk, owners can then mint an OG upgrade.

For example, each item in the collection provides access to the ToastPunks metaverse, slated for a Q3 launch, plus the potential for early access to future drops, VIP passes, and token packages.
